Q: How old are you?
Q: If someone were to describe you in three words what would they be?
A: Adventurous. Devoted. Balanced.
Q: What do you love most about yourself?
A: I love my bum! I used to be self conscious about it, but now I like to “own it”.
Q: What is your personal beauty mantra?
A: Comparison is the thief of joy.
Q: What are you great at?
A: I feel like I’m really good at rock climbing & cooking! They are two of my favorite things.
Q: What advice would you give your fifteen year old self?
A: I would tell my 15 year old self to not worry about what other people think of me, to work hard in school & to stay away from boys!
Q: As women, what can we do to build each other up?
A: Women are invaluable tools in helping to create positive self-image among one another. As women, we tend to be extremely hard on ourselves & can sometimes set unrealistic expectations for our lives. It’s important that we remember to simply focus on what’s important in life. Also, I’m a strong believer in uplifting one another, & expressing positivity in hopes of spreading positive self-image.
Q: What’s your greatest accomplishment?
A: My greatest accomplishment in life is marrying the man of my dreams. The reason this is my greatest accomplishment is because, before my husband, I went through a heart-breaking divorce. Through this difficult trial in my life I lost myself & struggled with my own self-worth. Since then, & with much practice, I taught myself to love myself, to always remember my true beauty & to never settle for anything less than what I deserved. It wasn’t until after I learned how to love who I am as a person completely, that I was able to find true love and be loved in return. I’m so grateful that I was able to find my wonderful husband & for his everyday reminders that I am beautiful.
Q: Tell me about a time when you felt truly beautiful:
A: I feel the most beautiful after I’ve just completed a kick-butt workout, am completely drenched in sweat and have no makeup on. Through fitness, I’ve learned that being strong & beautiful isn’t about how you look, but how you feel about yourself.
Q: What do you do each day to feel beautiful?
A: In my head, every day, I tell myself that I’m beautiful. I used to really struggle with negative thinking (I’m fat, I’m ugly, etc.) & it only brought me down. If you tell yourself you’re beautiful enough times, soon enough, you’ll start to believe it. It really works ☺️
Q: Tell me something quirky about yourself:
A: I really like to walk around naked. Is this too inappropriate?
Q: Tell me about a woman you admire:
A: I look up to my mother & admire her with all my heart. She has been my rock my entire life & no matter what I’ve gone through, she’s been there to lift me up. She’s taught me that being beautiful means to be charitable, loving, & kind. She is the most beautiful woman I’ve ever known and I love her so much!
